Jayasri founded this organization with a vision and mission to provide coaching on business consulting for Land & Urban Information & Management, Natural Resources & Disaster Management, domain specific technical training for firms and individuals who want to grow business and establish their niche in geospatial technologies.
Jayasri is having 18 years of industry experience and worked with National and Multinational Geospatial companies in India. She comes with rich experience in Strategic Business Development specialized in developing “Go to Market Strategies” for established markets like India and evolving markets like Africa. She also specializes building Strategic partnerships for organizations in niche markets, Project Management and domain specific Teaching.
She is well versed with modern geospatial technologies, Digital Photogrammetry & LiDAR, Remote Sensing & Image processing studies, Survey Techniques and Geographic Information System (GIS). She is Doctorate in Sedimentology, Geology, Department of Geology, University Science College from Osmania University; Hyderabad & MBA (P.E) from Institute of Public Enterprise specialized in Strategic Management from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

He is Master of Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science and MBA with 20 years of working experience. His skills are in crop mapping and yield estimation, soil survey and mapping, land evaluation and crop suitability assessment. Strengths are in effective team building, project execution, project planning, training and capacity building, client interaction, and techno-commercial documentation.
International assignments include countries in Africa (Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Malawi), Middle East (Saudi Arabia) and South East Asia (Philippines).
He has graduated from University of Madras and M.Sc. degree in ‘Applied Geology’ from Civil Engineering Dept., Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay and Post Graduate Diploma in ‘Advanced Aerial Photo Interpretation’ also. He received his Ph.D. in ‘Geomorphology and Structure of outer Himalayas using Remote Sensing Techniques’ from Indian School of Mines(ISM), Dhanbad.
Dr. Subramanian has more than 36 years of professional experience in the field of remote sensing, geomorphology and ground water. He has coordinated a number of National Mission Projects, including Integrated Mission for Sustainable Development (IMSD), National (Natural) Resources Information System (NIRS), and National Agricultural Technology Project and an international project, Mapping of the natural resources of Dubaiusing Satellite images. He was the Project Coordinator for the Govt. of India, a National level Project, Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission, with more than 33 organizations all over the country.
He served for a decade from 1980, as Teaching Faculty in Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun and guided for about 15 post graduate diploma theses.He retired as Group Director,Hydrogeology Group at National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Dept. of Space; Hyderabad.
He has served as Member, High level Committee on National Drinking Water and Sanitation Council (NDWSC), Govt. of India in the area of Hydrogeology, use of Satellite data / High end technology and Drinking Water Security.He was a Member of the Expert Committee in generating the Concept report/ Paper in formulating the Drinking Water Security plan for Tripura state and Andaman& Nicobar Islands, Ministry of Rural Development, DDWS, Govt. of India.
He has received certificate of appreciation from Prof. L.W.Fritz, President, ISPRS for significant contribution to the scientific and technologic activities of ISPRS as Secretary of Working Group VII/2 “Applications of Remote Sensing and GIS for Sustainable Development” during the period 1996-2000 also as Joint Secretary ofISRS for two terms.
Dr. Subramanian has authored or coauthored nearly 40 publications. He is one of the editors of the book ‘Geoinformatics in Applied Geomorphology’ published by CRC press, Taylor& Francis Group.
He is presently working as Mackenzie Chair Professor of DST, Govt. of India at Institute of Remote Sensing, Anna University, and Chennai.
He is Doctorate in Entomology from Andhra Pradesh Agriculture University and retired as Associate Professor of Entomology, University of Agriculture , Andhra Pradesh (erstwhile, United AP).
He taught the undergraduates and post graduate Agriculture students, post-doctoral fellowship, research Associates for 38 years. His specializations were Rodentology, Sericulture and also extensive work in Pulses.
Dr. Rao, is a Ph.D in Entomology, specializing in “Studies On The Pre-Harvest Ad Post-Harvest Management Of Pulse Beetle Callowobruchus Chinensis Linnaeus In Pigeonpea (Cajanus Cajan(L) Millsp.)”. A fellow of Entomology Society of India and has conducted many programs for woman farmers under NSS programs and have given guidance to many students who are leading many assignments nationally and internationally.
His vision to learn and assemble knowledge as a continuous process inspired to make “Training” as a mission and major service of BEnKA Consulting.
